Christian Frey
Owner/Founder
Born and raised in Arlington, Texas, Christian developed his passion for hockey by playing for what is now the Dallas Stars Elite. He advanced to the USHL, competing with the Dubuque Fighting Saints, Des Moines Buccaneers, and Tri-City Storm before continuing his career at Ohio State University. There, he played for four years and graduated in 2017 with a degree in Strategic Communications.
Following his collegiate career, Christian spent two seasons playing professionally in the AHL and ECHL. After retiring from professional hockey, he transitioned into coaching and development, working with the Lone Star Brahmas (NAHL) for three years and the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders for an additional year and a half.
In 2021, Christian shifted his focus to player advising, dedicating four years to helping athletes secure opportunities with top-tier junior programs and some of the best collegiate hockey programs in the country. His experience at all levels of the game led him to establish Summit Sports Management, a company committed to guiding players to the next level with integrity, hard work, and clear communication.
Christian’s advising philosophy is built on a “what and why” approach, ensuring that players and their families not only understand the recommended path but also the reasoning behind each decision. With firsthand experience navigating the complexities of modern hockey, he is dedicated to providing expert guidance and support to aspiring athletes.
